Gaza in Context: A History, with Assoc Professor Dana Sajdi
Sajdi, whose research and teaching focuses on a range of issues within the Middle East, will provide a basic history of the town of Gaza, and its transformation from a Mediterranean port and gateway to Egypt; to the main urban node of several Palestinian refugee camps, the Gaza Strip; to a sealed off territory that has been called “the biggest prison on earth.”
