4/29 (in person, New Haven CT) 5:30 PM - Seder in Action for Collective Liberation (JVP NH & partners))

Monday, April 29, 5:30 PM - in person at the Amistad Statue outside New Haven City Hall, 165 Church Street, New Haven CT

Seder in Action for Collective Liberation

Sponsored by JVP New Haven, Yale Jews for Ceasefire, CT for Palestine, Mending Minyan, Hartford Jewish

For thousands of years across the globe, Jews have celebrated Passover by recounting the story of Exodus, the story of the ancient Israelites’ liberation from slavery. Join us this Passover for a seder where we will commit ourselves to collective liberation for Jews, Palestinians, and all people. Out of respect for those being starved in Gaza, there will be no Shulchan Orech or festive meal.  ALL ARE WELCOME.

This Passover, we call on Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro to truly support a permanent ceasefire by halting military aid and weapons transfers to Israel.  We call on the New Haven Board of Alders to join us in our demand: Stop funding the war profiteers, and invest in education, health, housing, and climate justice for our city.

Please let us know if you’ll attend, to help us prepare. Accessibility information is in the RSVP form. Seder for Collective Liberation - Action Network
