Sunday, April 14th, 1:00-6:00 PM Eastern, Zoom and In-person in Toronto (Courtyard by Toronto Marriott Downtown)
Warning note: This event was included on the NENJP Calendar only because two speakers are from Breaking the Silence. It will undoubtedly be Israeli centered not Palestinian centered, and also will advocate for a “two state solution,” which is impossible at this stage.
After October 7th: A Political Vision for Israel-Palestine
Presented by Canadian Friends of Peace Now, JSpaceCanada, and the New Israel Fund of Canada
The horrific terror attacks perpetrated by Hamas on October 7th and the ensuing Israel-Hamas war have brought anguish, pain, and despair to two nations already mired in conflict. Everyone who cares about the safety of Israelis and Palestinians must seek immediately for a more peaceful, shared future in two states living side by side.
At a time when concerned Canadians desperately seek solutions to endless terrorism and occupation, Israeli civil society experts in foreign policy and security come to Canada to show us a roadmap to a safer future for all.
Join us for this half-day conference on April 14, 2024, as we hear from Israeli and Canadian experts about navigating the current quagmire to a political solution and how Canada can help.
