Monday, April 15, 7:00 PM - Livestream (too late to register for in person attendance)
UVM SJP is proud to welcome Thomas Suárez to campus as a part of our biggest educational event of the semester in collaboration with VTJP and others.
Thomas Suárez is a historical researcher, former West Bank resident, and Juilliard-trained professional violinist and composer. He has authored several books, including “Palestine Hijacked: How Israel Forged an Apartheid State from River to Sea,” and has received praise for his works from Noam Chomsky, Ilan Pappé, and others.
This is a crucial educational lecture for both newcomers and seasoned activists to understand the history of the oppression that Palestinians have faced since the beginning of the present occupation, and to understand the practical nature of the movement that has long sought to ethnically cleanse Palestine and is now carrying out the most horrific genocide of the 21st century.
