Gaza, The Killing Zone: Israel’s hard-line policy may be aimed only at Palestinian militants, but very often it’s innocent civilians who end up literally caught in the cross fire. This documentary reports on the violence in the Occupied Territories, focusing on the plight of children who are constantly threatened by Israeli snipers, military rockets, and army bulldozers. The film also presents the stories of Rachel Corrie, an American student crushed by a bulldozer as she tried to protect Palestinian homes; photographer Tom Hurndall, who was shot while rescuing a child from gunfire; and cameraman James Miller, killed by Israeli fire despite being unarmed and carrying a white flag. Some content may be objectionable.

A Child of Gaza, the War Through a Child's Eyes" made in November, 2023. Under Israeli bombardment, nine-year-old Elaf and her family struggle to find safety in the Gaza Strip. In Deir el-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, an Israeli air strike hits the house next door to nine-year-old Elaf and her family. They had already escaped their home in the Bureij refugee camp after days of Israeli bombardment. When their dreams of a truce turn into reality, Elaf returns home to discover childhood treasures and the fate of her friends in the rubble. But as the truce ends and the bombardment restarts, Elaf and her family are forced to relocate once again.

Both films will be followed by a discussion led by a Palestinian.
