Social Work Practice with Palestinian American & Palestinian Canadian Clients

This webinar is for users with a Zoom account. New to Zoom? Sign up free.

Join us for a webinar featuring Palestinian Social Work Researchers and Practitioners to learn about how to better serve Palestinian clients. We welcome attendees from all parts of the world, but the speakers will focus their comments on Palestinian communities living in the U.S. and Canada. Presentations will first lay a foundation for social workers interested in understanding history and international law, and then consider how the social work code of ethics relates to the responsibilities of social workers. Next, Social Work's commitment to antiracist practice will be discussed, with specific recommendations about how to integrate that lens into their work. Case studies will be presented to give texture to the theory and history presented. ** In order to track participants for the purpose of providing CE's, attendees must register with the email address they used to create their free zoom account. **
