Gender Panics and Zionism: The Right-Wing Politics of Extinction Phobia – a public lecture by C. Heike Schotten

This talk examines historical and ideological overlaps between TERFism and Zionism to (1) identify the broader logic of Right-wing worldviews and (2) clarify the colonial/white supremacist investments of gender panics and the gender politics of colonialism and white supremacy. Special attention will be paid to the ongoing Gaza Nakba.

Bio - C. Heike Schotten is Professor of Political Science at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she teaches political theory, feminist theory, and queer theory.
