2/8 Palestine@MIT Fundraising Dinner for refugees in Rafah (in person, Cambridge MA)

  • Morss Hall (50-140), Walker Memorial, MIT 142 Memorial Drive Cambridge, MA, 02139 United States (map)

Thursday, February 8, 5:30 PM EDT - in person at Walker Memorial, 142 Memorial Drive Cambridge, MA

Palestine@MIT Fundraising Dinner - We are fundraising to help build sanitation stations for displaced Palestinian families in Rafah.

We are Palestine@MIT, a student-led organization that aims at sharing Palestinian culture, history and identity. Over the past 115 days, our beloved siblings in the Gaza Strip have been subject to genocide and starvation. We are watching our beloved people being killed and they are livestreaming the genocide just for the world to turn a blind eye and continue to let the genocide persist. The situation in Gaza is beyond dire. Words can’t describe the scale of destruction both to the human and the city.

We, at Palestine@MIT, started a fundraiser to help with an ongoing project led by the Municipality of Rafah to build sanitation stations for displaced Palestinian families in Rafah. We are inviting you to our fundraising dinner on Thursday at 5:30 PM in Morss Hall (50-140). We will be starting programming promptly at 6 PM. We will have both student and faculty speakers. In addition to a musical performance. Donations will be accepted at the door and during the event so please bring your checkbooks. If you can’t attend, please consider donating here: gofund.me/eadeff97
