Lara Friedman is President of Foundation for Middle East Peace. She is a leading authority on the Middle East with expertise on US foreign policy in the region, on Palestine and Israel.  Lara is a former officer in the US Foreign Service, with diplomatic postings in Jerusalem, Tunis, Beirut, and Washington.  She also served as the Director of Policy and Government Relations at Americans for Peace Now.  Lara is a non-resident fellow at the US/Middle East Project.
