2/20 Film Screening "Israelism" & promotion of Lebanon NH Ceasefire Resolution (in person, West Lebanon NH)

February 20, 7:15 PM EDT - in person @ the Kilton Public Library (80 Main St) in West Lebanon, NH

Film Screening: Israelism

Join Upper Valley for Palestine for a screening and discussion of the documentary Israelism this Tuesday, February 20th. The film follows the story of two American Jews navigating their complex connection to Israel and explores the increasingly critical perspective that many young American Jews are taking of the Israeli state and its policies. It offers a radically humanistic perspective on Israel-Palestine and apartheid - one that refuses to reduce Israelis or Palestinians into monolithic categories of good and evil - that is missing from dialogue on the genocide unfolding before our eyes. The screening and discussion are free and open to the public! Please contact uv4pal@gmail.com if you have any questions.

The screening is also meant to promote a proposed city-level ceasefire resolution regarding the war in Gaza that the Lebanon City Council will take up at its next meeting on Wednesday, February 21, at 7:00pm at Lebanon City Hall. More info and petition link.pdf(Review) - Adobe cloud storage
