The Missing Peace: CODEPINK Community Hour 2/12 - The wanted 18
Join CODEPINK Palestine campaign organizer, Nour, and our communications manager, Melissa for our online community call, "Missing Peace Mondays," where we come together to reflect, mourn, educate, and mobilize.
This MPM, we will be watching and discussing: The Wanted 18.
Through a clever mix of stop motion animation and interviews, The Wanted 18 recreates an astonishing true story: Palestinians in Beit Sahour start a local dairy farm during the First Intifada as a form of nonviolent resistance, hiding a herd of 18 cows from Israeli occupation forces when the dairy collective was deemed a “threat to Israeli national security” in an attempt to squash the resistance.
