Join our 12 Days of Christmas Action for Palestine campaign - 1 solidarity action a day that you can do from home between Christmas Day and Lá Nollaig na mBan.
A second Christmas under genocide. A second Christmas of hell for the people of Gaza and Palestine, while the world’s governments refuse to act.
But we the people will not be silent. We will not look away. We will not ignore.
By coming together virtually, we can have a meaningful impact, raise awareness, and send a resounding message of support and solidarity to those who need it the most. This campaign amplifies existing solidarity actions and targets, as well as offering short readings/videos to educate ourselves. For more than 80 days, Dr Hussam Abu Safiya, Paediatrician and Medical Director of Kamal Adwan hospital in besieged North Gaza, pleaded with the international community for help. He was ignored. And, as we feared, the horror that has been inflicted on HCWs in every other hospital in Gaza, has been repeated. Dr Abu Safiya has been beaten and kidnapped by the IOF. The world has failed this courageous Physician who refused to leave his patients. The world is failing the people of Palestine.

We join Irish Healthcare Workers for Palestine in calling on everyone to phone and email their unions and professional bodies and insist they issue a statement demanding the immediate release of Dr Hussam Abu Safiyah and the staff of Kamal Adwan Hospital, and the immediate restoration of healthcare provision to the people of northern Gaza.
Our representative bodies must use their leverage to stop these atrocities and crimes against humanity. The silence cannot continue. It is costing lives and goes against every ethical principle that is supposed to guide our professions.
