Press Conference and Rally at Holyoke Medical Center

SILENCE IS NOT NEUTRALITY, IT IS COMPLICITY. Hope to see many of you at noon at Holyoke Medical Center, Monday, 12/23 for a press conference & rally launching a renewed campaign to get healthcare providers of western MA to stand up for their colleagues in Gaza. The CEO of Holyoke Medical Center, Spiro Hatiras, has refused to meet with us (River Valley for Gaza Healthcare), or to issue a statement about Gaza.

There is a new national mobilization called Doctors Against Genocide that is putting a strong wind under the wings of pro-Palestine healthcare providers and consumers to break the shameful silence of American medicine, and join in the demands for arms embargo, end to occupation, ceasefire, end to blockade, massive sustained shipment of humanitarian and medical aid, etc. Working on the McCarthyite Zionism of the enormous US healthcare establishment is going to be a very powerful way of supporting Gaza and Palestine.
