Join Shut It Down for Palestine-Queens and Artists Against Apartheid for a fundraiser film screening of “From Ground Zero” on Sunday, December 1st, followed by a panel discussion with Palestinian filmmakers.

“From Ground Zero” is an anthology of 22 short films by Gazan filmmakers, presenting the untold stories of life in Gaza during the genocide. The film has overcome censorship in Europe and a nationwide ban in Israel to achieve widespread praise at international film festivals, including being submitted as the Palestinian entry for the 2025 Academy Awards.

Ticket sales go toward benefiting Palestinian filmmakers and the Middle East Children’s Alliance (MECA) as part of The People Stand with Gaza campaign.
