In this two-part Intellectual and Political journey, Raz Segal in conversation with Bassam Haddad addresses his journey from leaving Zionism to embracing humanist and anti-racist stances on Palestine, in part 1. In Part 2 (next week) Raz shares his recent personal experience with the rescinding of a prestigious Academic appointment on the grounds of his critique of Israel. He also discusses efforts to reject and potentially replace the open-ended IHRA definition of Antisemitism with one that does not recognize supremacist discourse and positions regarding the state of Israel.
