Raji Sourani, General Director of the Palestinian Center for Human Rights; Coordinator of the Palestinian legal team representing victims before the international Crimimal Court; a member of the South African Legal team in the Genocide case before the International court of justice.
Ann Wright (born 1947) is a retired United States Army colonel and retired U.S. State Department official, known for her outspoken opposition to the Iraq War. Wright was also a passenger on the Challenger 1, which along with the Mavi Marmara, was part of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla. Ann Wright continues to organize Gaza Freedom Flotillas and, with CODEPINK, demands that U.S. officials acknowledge and immediately end their complicity with Israel's genocidal war against Palestinians.
Ms. Amal Siam, Director of Women Affairs Center (WAC): Born in the Gaza Strip into a Palestinian refugee family who was uprooted from its hometown during the 1948 Nakba. Holder a a BA degree in Social Development and a Master Degree in Human Resources Management. A human rights activist and advocate of women’s rights and gender equality. Amal Is currently working as a director of WAC, one of the oldest CSOs in the Gaza Strip and in the past, she worked as trainer and programs Director as well. She is an authorized member of the Palestinian Independent Commission of Human Rights.
Leo Gabriel, a journalist and anthropologist, Leo is part of the Prague Spring II network and a member of the IC of the World Social Forum.
David Swanson is an author, activist, journalist, and radio host. He is executive director of World BEYOND War and campaign coordinator for RootsAction.org. Swanson’s books include War Is A Lie and When the World Outlawed War. He blogs at DavidSwanson.org and WarIsACrime.org. He hosts Talk World Radio.
Kathy Kelly is board president of World BEYOND War. From 2022 to the present, she has co-coordinated the Merchants of Death War Crimes Tribunal. Since the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, she has co-coordinated an international network to assist young Afghans forced to flee their country. She made over two dozen trips to Afghanistan from 2010 – 2019, living with young Afghan Peace Volunteers in a working-class neighborhood in Kabul. With Voices in the Wilderness companions, from 1996 – 2003, she traveled twenty-seven times to Iraq, defying the economic sanctions and remaining in Iraq throughout the Shock and Awe bombing and the initial weeks of the invasion. She joined subsequent delegations to the West Bank’s Jenin Camp in 2002 during and after Israeli attacks, to Lebanon during the 2006 summer war between Israel and Hezbollah and to Gaza, in 2009, during Operation Cast Lead and following the 2013 Operation Pillar of Defense. Kathy has been an educator for most of her life, but she believes children of war and those who are victims of violence have been her most important teachers.
