Last Wednesday the United States cast its lone veto in the UN Security Council on a draft resolution that demanded an “ immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire [in Gaza].” It is the U.S.’s vote on 5th veto. Why? What went on behind the scenes?

Also last week, the ICC approved Karim Khan’s request for arrest warrants for P.M. Benjamin Netanyahu and his recently fired Minister of Defense, Yoav Galant. The warrant exposed the hypocrisy of most Western governments with an outpouring of hysterical indignation in the media and on social network platforms. The same governments that had applauded the ICC arrest warrant for Russian President Putin in May 2022 for alleged war crimes in Ukraine. Our speaker will address these developments and their implications.
