JVP DC Metro New Member Orientation & Chapter Meeting
It has never been clearer than in this moment that we must get organized. Justice and rights groups on the left cannot allow our current political climate to divide and despair us. The time to fight for liberation from DC to Palestine is NOW. Join us to build people power!
You’re invited to our upcoming chapter meeting on November 24th for an in-person chance to hear how we are charting our path forward, and how you can get involved. From 2–2:30 we will host an orientation session for new members and anyone who’d like to understand our chapter structure.
Then we’ll start the chapter meeting by grounding ourselves in the current political context. You’ll hear about how we are responding to the outcome of the election and the implications it has for our work as we continue to fight for an arms embargo, an end to the genocide, and a liberated Palestine.
You’ll have the chance to learn about our various committees and the ways you can get involved. We’ll end with ample time for an open discussion and questions. All are welcome! Bring a mask, your passion, and any skills you’re eager to contribute to the movement.
