Leila Hegazy Live Concert: We Are the Resistance

Join us for a live performance to launch the pro-Palestine/anti-capitalist album, ‘We Are the Resistance’, by musician and social media social media creator, Leila Hegazy. After going viral on social media with her pro-Palestine covers of popular songs, Leila recorded a full liberation album of her most well-known covers, as well as new original songs, to benefit the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. This project is an expression of the collective rage and hope felt by everyone in the worldwide struggle for a free Palestine. Through song, listeners are invited to imagine an end to the US war machine, capitalism, and empire. Both this concert and the liberation album itself are intended to highlight music’s role in the Palestinian resistance movement, and the ability for the working class to rise up for true collective liberation.
