Tatreez Workshop
Palestinian tatreez is a traditional embroidery art form featuring intricate patterns that represent specific villages and cultural narratives of Palestine. Stitched onto clothing, it has been passed down through generations, preserving Palestinian history and identity. In the context of liberation, tatreez serves as a symbol of resistance, resilience, and connection to the land, asserting cultural pride and heritage amidst displacement and oppression.
Join us this Wednesday from 5-7PM (Coburn Hall, UMass Lowell) for a lesson and workshop on Tatreez. Supplies will be provided‼️🇵🇸
