Bring Your People: Rhode Island Mass Meeting organized by Showing Up for Racial Justice

A timely invitation: a meeting for ‘white’ people looking to find/ build antiracist organizing community and support local multiracial justice movement work.

In the midst of our grief, rage, and fear– we invite you to come together with other local people who care. We show up to fight white supremacy and recommit to organizing our own people away from the far right.

Join us on Tuesday Nov.19 from 7-9pm in Providence, RI (full address available to registrants only).

The space is being held by a handful of us in Showing Up for Racial Justice-RI but is a gathering for anybody part of any organization, unaffiliated individuals, and those curious to connect with others attempting to activate ourselves/white people in support of local social and racial justice organizing (health and climate, education and housing, abolition, etc.) All (or no) organizing experience welcome (from first meeting to movement elders). Please feel free to bring anybody looking to connect and strategize, or plug into efforts already underway. We welcome people reeling from the election of Trump. Most of all, we're excited to foster connection and action for collective liberation.
