Join PYM DMV on Saturday, November 16th for the first of our monthly film screening and discussion series, where will be watching and reflecting upon Return to Haifa, based on the novella by Ghassan Kanafani.

The film’s story follows a Palestinian couple, Saeed and Safiyya, who return to their home in Haifa for the first time in two decades in search of the son they left behind when they were forcefully expelled during the Nakba in 1948. Are they prepared for what they will find upon their return?

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early as we will begin the screening promptly at 3 PM. We are eager to watch this film together and engage in an exchange of ideas and reflections.
