One week after Election Day, join Arlington residents and local advocates to demand that Elbit Systems be removed from our community and cut off from all business and academic partnerships!
Elbit systems is an international military technology company based in Israel and it is a key target in the movement for Palestine. Elbit was just awarded a ~$127 million contract to provide the US Army with Hard Kill “Iron Fist” Active Protection Systems (APS) in partnership with General Dynamics. We denounce this expansion of the US war-machine!
As Elbit continues to take up space and resources and recruit workers from our community, we the people say: No labor for genocide! No more bomb-makers on our block!
From surveillance and violence at the border to the bombing of hospitals, schools, and refugees in tents in Palestine, Elbit arms our oppressors. The horrible acceleration of imperial aggression is also accelerating the climate crisis and displacing millions of marginalized people across the globe.
It is time to show our love for the earth and indigenous people. We must rise up with oppressed people in Palestine, Mexico, the Philippines, El Salvador, and throughout the diasporas to name that Elbit is our collective enemy!
We must reject all war profiteers! We must eject Elbit Systems!
