BREAKING: Nearly the entire world (187-2) has voted to end the U.S. embargo on Cuba at the United Nations General Assembly for the 32nd consecutive year.

The only two countries voting against the resolution were the United States and Israel.

For over 60 years, the blockade on Cuba has devastated the Cuban economy, depriving Cubans of essential goods and causing significant economic losses.

After Obama had begun normalizing relations, Trump reversed course and designated Cuba as a “State Sponsor of Terror” for hosting Colombia’s peace process. The Biden administration has maintained Trump’s designation.

The U.S. war on Cuba has continued far too long.
