🚨 MASK OFF MAERSK INTERNATIONAL DAYS OF ACTION OCT 22-24🚨
It has been over 1 year of the Western-backed Zionist regime’s genocide on Gaza. Israel has been able to launch a relentless bombing campaign against Palestinians in Gaza because it enjoys the political, diplomatic, and military support of North American and European governments. The weapons being used to murder and maim our people in Gaza are being manufactured and assembled in the United States, Canada, and Britain, where they are then transported through our highways, ports, and airports to occupied Palestine to carry out the genocide.
Just this week, after one year of orchestrating and backing the genocide of our people in Gaza, the White House announced that Israel has 30 days to allow more aid trucks into Gaza in an effort to address “humanitarian concerns” or Israel will face financial cuts in U.S. military aid. We know this is a ploy to garner votes ahead of the election — the ultimatum period conveniently ending after rather than before the election. We know these statements do not represent any real effort to restrain the Zionist regime, just as we know that the power to effect real change will never come from politicians, but from the people.
This is why, in May 2024, the Palestinian Youth Movement launched an international campaign targeting Maersk – a logistics company that facilitates the supply-chain of death and destruction and is a key arterty of imperialism. Since October, Maersk has shipped $300 million worth of weapons and weapons components of the 5 top weapons manufacturers in the world. This money is dripping with the blood of over 200,000 Palestinian martyrs.
We are calling for international protests on Oct 22-24th to demand Maersk CUT TIES WITH GENOCIDE! Join us in demanding that Maersk:
1. Stop the transportation of weapons components for arms manufacturers complicit in the genocide of the Palestinian people
2. End all contracts and partnerships with the Department of Defense and any contracts that sustain weapons supply to Israel.
