🚨RALLY OUTSIDE UNH ENDOWMENT FOUNDATION BOARD MEETING 🚨
Join us to demand divestment this Thursday! 🇵🇸
One year of genocide, over 180,000 martyred, and yet UNH refuses to divest. We demand that UNH divests from genocide and apartheid, and invest into UNH community. 1,200+ students, faculty, and staff agree with us on the necessity to divest from death. Yet, there is no action. Join us to demand action as we’re stronger united!
Swipe for more information on background on divestment, our demand from the UNH endowment foundation, why divestment is important, why we need to reinvest in our UNH community, and FAQs addressing relevant myths and misconceptions.
UNH is currently invested in funds worth $81 million (at least), which need to be divested as these funds invest in BDS target companies.
UNH divested from apartheid South Africa in January 1987, a year after People for a Free South Africa (PFSA) students occupied T-hall demanding divestment. The mounting communal international pressure led to the downfall of apartheid in South Africa.
UNH has divested before and must do so now.
Disclose, Divest! We will not stop, we will not rest!
