Join us to watch "Gaza Surf Club" — a 2016 film which follows surfers from Gaza — and discuss the connection between the seas and freedom.

Join Northeast Surfers for Palestine for a special screening of the documentary Gaza Surf Club in the Community Room at the Cambridge Public Library, co-sponsored by the Boston Palestine Film Festival.

Trapped in the world’s largest open-air prison, a new generation is drawn to the beaches. Sick of the occupation and blockade, they find their own personal freedom in the waves of the Mediterranean — they are the surfers of Gaza.

A short discussion will follow the film screening.
