About the Film
Germany’s stifling of pro-Palestinian voices is pitting historical guilt against anti-colonial movements and free speech. Since October 7, 2023, authorities have clamped down on Palestinian activism, from protestors carrying ‘stop genocide’ signs to pro-Palestine groups being outlawed. While protests are now allowed, the country is beset by constant cancellations of those who speak out for Palestinian human rights. The film was commissioned for The New Arab website.
