Congressional Days of Actions for Palestine. Jan 22 - 26

Plans may change at the last minute so it is important for you to RSVP so we can get in touch with you. 

We have been in the halls of Congress since October 7th. Our main aim is to visit Senate offices to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to funding for Israel. It is urgent we be in the Senate this week, as it is likely that the bill to send $14 billion to Israel will be voted on and we must make our opposition heard.

Monday: Meet 10am in the Senate Hart building lobby. 

Tuesday: Meet 9:30am in the Senate Hart building lobby. 

Wednesday: Meet 9:30am in the Senate Hart building lobby.

Thursday: Meet 9:30am in the Senate Hart building lobby.

Friday: Meet 10am in the Senate Hart building lobby.

Also, we are joining Teachers Against Genocide for a Kids' Day in Congress "Field Trip".

THE FIELD TRIP WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING ROLES:

SPEAKING: A few children to share a message at each office. 

SIGNS: Several children to hold signs (we will have a select number available for use). 

HANDWRITTEN NOTES:  Children should bring handwritten messages to leave with the senators' office staff. 

OBSERVERS: Children who want to just observe the action.
