Friday, September 22, 4:00 PM EDT - Meet at 47th and 2nd ave
Ultra right-wing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in New York City this week, meeting with President Biden and defending Israeli apartheid to the United Nations General Assembly.
Prime Minister Netanyahu leads the most extreme far-right government in Israeli history. He and his ministers openly advocate for racist and anti-democratic policies, and actively encourage violence against Palestinians. Last year was already the deadliest year for Palestinians in decades. But now, with Netanyahu back in power, 2023 is on track to surpass it. Over 219 Palestinians have been killed this year, including 45 children. Israeli settler violence and Israeli military incursions into Palestinian towns are taking place on an almost daily basis.
As Jews for Palestinian freedom, we are taking to the streets to say no to this brutal apartheid regime and make clear that war criminals like Netanyahu are not welcome here.
The stakes have never been higher. ALL OUT this Friday at 4pm outside the UN to make it clear that Netanyahu is not welcome in our city.
Jews for Palestinian freedom say: Netanyahu is not welcome here!
While this protest is planned by JVP-NYC, people of all backgrounds are invited. Please message us if there are ways we can make this action more accessible for you.
