Join the Jerusalem Fund for a screening of the acclaimed documentary, 1948: Creation and Catastrophe, which tells the story of the establishment of the state of Israel through the eyes of the people who lived it and were affected by it. Through riveting and moving personal recollections of both Palestinians and Israelis, in addition to conversations with respected historians such as Nur Masalha, Ilan Pappe, and Rashid Khalidi, this documentary uses the events of 1948 to shed light on the Israeli-Palestinian issue today.

Following the screening, we will host a virtual discussion with the filmmakers, Dr. Ahlam Muhtaseb and Andy Trimlett.
