The American Friends of the Palestinian House of Friendship (AFPHF) invites you to our annual fundraising event for PHF on Zoom, hosted by Morgan Bassichis and Una Aya Osato.

Our featured guests will be Mohammed Sawalha, director and founder of PHF, and his son and successor, Majed Sawalha, speaking to us from beleaguered Nablus, West Bank, and from Cyprus.

As PHF adjusts to the enormous stressors generated this spring by the right-wing Israeli government and its army of Occupation, Mohammed will share stories about the ways PHF brings respite and even joy to both urban and rural kids and their families.He will describe some of PHF’s current programs, including e-learning in West Bank schools, the recording studio, the Girl Scout Troop, Boxes of Love, outreach to hospitalized children with cancer, and the Green Hand Initiatives.

AFPHF has regional teams in New York City, Cambridge MA, Northampton MA, and Montpelier, VT, whose mission is to support PHF. We welcome new teams across the country and encourage you to invite interested friends to join us on June 4, at 4:30 p.m.
