Wednesday, December 6, 1:00 PM EDT - in person at Senator Maggie Hassan’s office, 14 Manchester Square, Suite 140, Portsmouth NH
Please join us on Wednesday, December 6 for a silent candlelight vigil for all who are suffering violence, displacement, terror, and grief in Palestine and Israel. We will implore Senator Hassan to join the call for a permanent ceasefire, an end to the Israeli bombardment and blockade of Gaza, and an end to US military aid to Israel, just as we have done with our vigils last months outside of the offices of Rep. Pappas and Sen. Shaheen in Dover.
This event is not a rally. It is a solemn vigil of lamentation for the many thousands of lives lost, and an expression of our steadfast commitment to human rights and peace among all peoples.
This vigil is hosted by AFSC-NH, NH Peace Action, the Community Church of Durham, Dover Friends Meeting, Palestine Education Network & Veterans for Peace-NH. All are welcome. This is an outdoor event. Please dress for the weather.
