Want to Be Involved with UUs Advocating for Ceasefire?

Join our Legislative/Advocacy Working Group! 

A four-day pause in violence is not enough! We are glad to see the release of some of the Israeli captives and Palestinian prisoners. But we don't want the pause to end! UUs can learn together about actions you can take on your own or in community, around the ceasefire, and around other initiatives such as Rep. McCollum's legislation to protect Palestinian families from Israeli military abuses.

All UUs are invited to join our meetings on the first Monday of each month. Board member Steve Lapham hosts our monthly meetings. Send an email stating your interest along with your name and the name of your congregation, city and state, to legislation@uujme.org. The next meeting will be on December 4th at 5 pm Pacific Time / 8 pm Eastern Time on Zoom. Learn what you can do to pressure our elected officials, in community with other Unitarian Universalists.
