The Community Church of Boston is heartbroken in witnessing the ongoing ethnic cleansing of Gaza being done by Israel with the use of US weapons and US political support. We are also encouraged to see actions of civil disobedience, mass rallies, community events and more, in support of the Palestinian people and in protest of the destructive, immoral actions of Israel and the US.
The Community Church of Boston has been a "peace and justice congregation since 1920." We have a long history of challenging our government, our media, and ourselves in our journey for peace and justice. In this spirit, we have organized three upcoming events about Gaza, Israel, and US involvement.
On November 7th at 7pm Eastern Time, we will host Dan Cohen for a webinar where he will speak about the current war in Gaza, and offer an analysis which includes the possibility of a wider conflict potentially involving Hezbollah and the US. Dan Cohen is the founder of Uncaptured News and a contributor to the Redacted news program. He is also a documentary filmmaker whose work includes the film Killing Gaza. Dan has spent considerable time in Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel.
The Community Church of Boston will also be screening his film Killing Gaza on November 9 at 7pm. (will enter on Calendar separately)
We look forward to seeing you. Thank you for your time and interest.
