Vigil at Hamden’s Miller Library

Rep. Rosa DeLauro has an event at Miller Library tomorrow, Saturday at 10 am.  We will be there to greet her, gathering at 9:45, to continue the reading of names of those who have died in the violence including Israeli Jews and foreign nationals killed on October 7 and Palestinians killed in Gaza since. We will continue from where we left off on Thursday when we were in front of her office.

Our message to Representative DeLauro remains the same: “These deaths, overwhelmingly innocent civilians, are criminal and unconscionable.  Why have you not called for an immediate Cease Fire? A humanitarian pause is not enough. Stop the killing, stop the bombing, end the cycle of systemic violence.” 

How: We will be sharing the reading of names from lists published in Haaretz  Here and Mondoweiss Here. 

Please join. Bring your voice for reading names. Bring signs calling for an immediate cease fire.
