Cohort Group for Jewish Progressives (Jewish Academics)

Reconstructionists Expanding Our Conversation on Israel-Palestine invites Jewish progressives to come together to connect with one another, share concerns, and build community at this time of war. We are making space for conversation with the goal of creating monthly havurot (small groups). These groups are for people who identify as Jewish and fit into the particular cohort. We are happy to create additional groups if there is a demand.  

Jewish Academics – Tuesday, November 14, 8:00 p.m. Eastern - For Jews who work in academia. Professors Sue Lanser and Joel Beinin will facilitate a conversation navigating campus politics, academic freedom and freedom of speech, professional obligations, and personal concerns. Please register

Reconstructionists Expanding Our Conversation on Israel-Palestine is an independent project organized and co-sponsored by several Reconstructionist congregations – Congregation Shaarei Shamayim, Havurah Shalom Israel/Palestine Committee, Kadima Reconstructionist Community, Kol Tzedek, Mishkan Shalom, and Or Haneshamah.
