Israel-Hamas War? Tackling Root Causes with UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese

Francesca Albanese—the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967—will be discussing the current situation in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories as well as the international legal implications of the events that have unfolded since October 7. In this context, she will also address the root-causes of this most recent violence and the impact of this protracted coercive environment on children, the adults of tomorrow.

Chris Williams, Clinical Instructor at Harvard Law School's Criminal Justice Institute will act as moderator.
