Internet and cell phone communications are cut off in Gaza.

In this blackout, joint US-Israeli ground invasions are being attempted. Occasionally people in Gaza are able to find a connection and provide a situation update. It is dire. Carpet bombing including of bakeries so people can't use the supplies that have gotten in. People being operated on for injuries with no anesthesia and no antibacterial treatment, no soap and water. NICU babies without electricity for incubators. No attention to the rules of war. More than 7500 Palestinians killed, and about half of them are children. More than a thousand trapped under rubble. Regional forces have gotten involved.

We urge you to get involved in whatever way that you can. And to join like-minded people of good will in a grief processing space and a class session on Sunday.

UUJME is opening a space for grieving on Sunday October 29 at 6 pm PT/9 pm ET. This will be a Zoom session with an opening for the whole group followed by breakout rooms for people of different identities.
