(note from Ann - I debated on whether to include this. I have found JStreet’s reaction and comments re: the current crisis to be somewhat infuriating. That being said, there may be some NENJPers who are also members of JStreet who may want to attend.)
JStreet and New Israel Fund New England are sponsoring a zoom community gathering to “connect, grieve and offer support to each other. We’ll also hear about the important work being done on the ground to support and protect communities in this incredibly challenging moment, and what we can do to support that work.”
We’ll hear from our own community members who are deeply engaged in this work including Rav Claudia Kreiman of Temple Beth Zion in Brookline, NIF representatives on how we can support local Israeli organizations, a J Street U student who will speak to the response we’re seeing on college campuses, and Israelis living here in the United States.
We’ll also include some open discussion time to share thoughts and feelings, and ask questions.
