Details: Thursday, September 9, 2021 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET - Theater of the Oppressed (TO), founded by the Brazilian Augusto Boal, is a type of theater that promotes widespread cultural and political change. TO has been used by Combatants for Peace in our activist work, both for personal healing amongst the activists as well as to promote wider political and social change. This workshop will teach the basic principles of this method and share how it has been successfully utilized in Israel/Palestine by peace and human rights groups.
