Details: Tuesday, July 6, 5:30 PM (real world action New Haven CT)- In East Jerusalem and the West Bank: Israel has begun demolition in Silwan that threatens more than 70 buildings housing 1,500 Palestinians. Evictions threaten the homes of Palestinian families in Sheikh Jarrah who have lived there for decades. Palestinian residents in the West Bank town of Beita are in danger of being forcibly expelled from their homes for Israeli settlers to take over the land.
In Connecticut: Our congresspeople issue platitudes but refuse to take any actions that would start to chip away at U.S. backing of Israeli apartheid.
