Details: Why are the Palestinian citizens of Israel unhappy? We are repeatedly told they have "equal rights" to Jewish Israeli citizens. The answer lies in the very nature of Israel as a "Jewish State" - something that was made explicit two years ago by the adoption of the "Nation State" law. But few Canadians understand what a "Jewish State" really means in practice. Using his own example, Jonathan Cook, a citizen of Israel who is not Jewish, will explain.
