Dr Peter Makari, PhD/Executive, Middle East and Europe Global Ministries of the United Church of Christ and Christian Church (DOC) will share the history and continuation of the refugee camps and the partnership between Global Ministries and the YWCA of Palestine.
Other Speakers:
Amal Tarazi, National Director/YWCA of Palestine, will address the YWCA mission, the needs of marginalized Palestinians, and the Y’s Response.
Ropina Rafidi, Executive Manager/YWCA of Ramallah, will discuss the work of the Y in the Jalazoune Refugee Camp/marginalized areas.
Nazar Halteh, Executive Manager/YWCA of Jericho, will speak about the Y’s work in the Aqbet Jaber Refugee Camp.
