This panel introduces 6 women, including Ahed Tamimi, Janna Jihad, Gil Hillel, Bahia Amawi, and Sahar Vardi, whose lives have been deeply affected by the Israeli military Occupation of the West Bank, Palestine. The presenters provide contextual information about the ongoing Naqba (Arabic for “catastrophe”) and a background for each woman, followed by a video in her own words. The session aims to highlight the spectrum of responses that the women have had to the challenges brought on by the Occupation and to encourage discussion of those responses.
