The American Friends of the Palestinian House of Friendship in Nablus (West Bank) are holding a fundraiser for PHF on Saturday, June 22nd from 3-5 p.m. at the Community Church of Boston, 565 Boylston St. (2nd floor). Mohammed Sawalha, the director of PHF, will be present at the fundraiser to explain his work with children and young adults of Nablus that includes summer camps, a skatepark, Girls Scouts, a studio for recording music and oral histories, and classes for e-learning in villages, computers, folklore dance, embroidery and civic education. Take the T to Copley Square (green line) or Bay Bay (orange line). If driving, park at Back Bay Garage, 199 Clarendon St. Your ticket will entitle you to a $8 voucher (obtained at the event) when you leave the garage. Refreshments and music will be provided.
