RECEPTION AND PANEL DISCUSSION FOR THE PROMISED LAND EXHIBIT

  • Friends Meeting Cambridge 5 Longfellow Park Cambridge, MA, 02138 United States (map)

Steve Feldman, Max Carter, and Nancy Murray will participate in a panel discussion on the Promised Land Exhibit produced by the Jewish Museum of the Palestinian Experience. Dr. Steven Feldman, founder of the exhibit, will be present. Max Carter, a Quaker with much experience in Palestine-Israel, and Nancy Murray, who has visited Gaza many times over the past 30 years, will join Steve in a panel discussion related to the exhibit. Read their bios here. There will be a forum that same morning with Max Carter at 9:30am.

Promised Land Exhibit This will be followed by a reception for the interactive exhibit of historical photographs and documents with links to audio and video materials. The exhibit was founded to provide a perspective on the Palestine-Israel conflict that is rooted in Jewish values of truth, justice, peace, and treating our neighbors as we would want to be treated. Read more about the exhibit here and follow the event on Facebook. The exhibit will be up for only one day. We seek other venues for it.

Sponsored by the Peace and Social Justice Committee of Friends Meeting in Cambridge. Childcare provided.
