The Gaza Mental Health Foundation cordially invites you to an evening of cultural celebration and resilience in support of it’s mental health efforts in Gaza: “Gaza’s on my mind / غزة عَ بالي.” The event will include live performances of Palestinian folk songs accompanied by Oud, stories of trangenerational activism for the cause, as well as selected readings on resilience and self-determination. Our key note speaker will be psychiatrist Dr. Yasser Abu Jamei , the director of the Gaza Mental Health Community Program (GCMHP) who is visiting from Gaza for a US educational tour.

Suggested donation: $35. All proceedings will go to support the ongoing efforts of the GCMHP to provide a state of the art mental health service for the heavily traumatized population in Gaza. Please read more and RSVP on the Facebook event.
