Iyad Burnat is a longtime pro-Palestine activist who operates within the West Bank, hailing from the village of Bil'in, which is internationally known. He is the head of two Palestinian organizations that focus on non-violent resistence. Activism runs in the family, as he is the younger brother of Academy-Award nominated filmmaker, Emad Burnat; he is most well-known for the film Five Broken Cameras.
Iyad will be speaking to us about the occupation and popular forms of resistance taking place on the ground in Palestine right now! Invite your friends, there will be snacks :)
