Sandy Tolan, award-winning reporter and author of "The Lemon Tree," will read from his newly issued book, Children of the Stone: The Power of Music in a Hard Land. 

“Children of the Stone: The Power of Music in a Hard Land” chronicles the journey of Palestinian musician Ramzi Hussein Aburedwan from angry 8-year-old stone thrower to adolescent music student to international performer.

Sandy will show slides from the music school that Ramzi eventually founded, play audio from his field research and answer your questions.
